The center for information and telecommunication Engineering (CITE) on Thursday August 15, 2019, hosted the 2019 Huawei ICT workshop with over 300 students in attendance. The workshop also had in attendance the vice chancellor of the University, Prof. N. E. S Lale who was ably represented by the deputy vice chancellor (Academics), Prof Hakeem Fawehinmi, the channels training Manager Huawei, Mr Kenneth Igwe and the Director General NITDA, Dr. Isa Ibrahim who was ably represented by the south south zonal coordinator NITDA, Deans and HoDs of various faculties and departments respectively. In all, the program was a huge success to the credit of the host CITE led by Dr. B. O. Omijeh.
